I didn't say you didn't love the compatible person your just not so head over heals for them.
a question....define the difference between loving someone, and being head over heels in love with them
would you tell say a long term bf you loved him, but not mean the head over heels type? I am confused because I thought there was only love (for say a friend) and romantic love and obviously nothing (the lack of either)......
as for the question.....I'd go for the woman I truly loved (i.e. couldnt imagine myself without her)...not saying the compatible type isnt wrong but also like Velvett said I dont just want someone who looks gorgeous and fucks when I ask her to ages 25-30 and then gains 50lbs, laments about how I dont spend enough on her and is unable to sustain a conversation of any merit.
There are so many guys out there that go for the girl who looks good and then realise when she decides to let herself go all that is left behind is the A-class bitch she might be (if that is all she has decided to rely on in life), and probably has an affair
Same as all the women who go for a guy because he has the right mix of rich family/upbringing/family background/career and then realise when they get nto the marriage hey are with a guy they never truly loved and each day becomes about making it through to nighttime, evenworse realising the fantasy of married bliss placed in their heads by parents etc probably will never happen with a guy they never loved. of course by then they will have children tying them down as others would have advised them 'thats a GREAT way to stabilise a sinking ship'
I hope I get to find someone where I can genuinely enjoy their company. For that reason I hope I marry a friend, ideally a best friend. I just hope it goes that way and I dont end up in a marriage which I regret.
