GH peremption ?

I have a question:my buddy bought a GH kit 1 year ago won which was written that the date of peremption of it was in april 2002 but because of a severe back injury he was totally unable to train so he didn't use it...now the peremption date is past of 4 months and he wants to begin to use it the next week even if the peremption date is past...he told me he always kept it refrigerated.
this is GH made by genotorm.
should he use it or not?

Im no expert but if i bought it and it is only 4months past i would use it,most drugs are still effective for a period of time after that exp. date which is not a drop dead date.
