For some reason lately i have been getting stomach cramps during my run what could be causing this? its really starting to annoy me!

Add some potassium and taurine to your ED supplementation and make sure your water intake a adequate.

Well i tried and its really not working funny thing is i have been running for like 10 months and this has never happened to me before now. What could the problem be?

what have you changed within those 10 months that may attribute to the cramps?

- think long and hard, and you may find the culprit

Agreed with Sgt. Any changes in diet or timing of exercises that you can think of? Some things I can think of:

-Change your breathing patterns while your run. Try to exhale when your left foot hits the ground. Push your stomach out when you breathe in and relax it as you breathe out.

-Stretch more before you start running to expand your diaphram. Arms overhead, left side and right. Bend over and up.

-Try not to consume too many fluids before you run.

-Contrary, if you feel that you're dehydrated, drink more fluids.

-Press on the area that you feel cramped in your stomach. Sometimes that helps the pain go away.

One thing is i never drink water during my run i always wait till im done you think if i kept a water bottle by my side that might help?

depends on your running style, how you move your body... I get more abs pain after a day doiing pull ups than after a day doing abs.

I also eventually get abs cramps after running, it all boils down to lactic acid, so you need to think about that

honestly we could shoot the shit all night (at least in my time zone) on probable causes...

Push through the pain (the "hard to do" pain... not "pain" pain) :)

could be a lack of endurance (if you're pushing yourself on farthur distances)

or increased intensity.... ?

Eh, push through it for the cause. Unless it's true pain.

Also, if you have somehow changed your diet....maybe lowered the carb intake? When the body goes through glycolisis and uses the carbs for energy(in the form of ATP)....and if you are using up all of your energy stores when running, you could have a build up of lactaid(form of lactose sugar) which is released into the body and the blood stream may in turn cause cramping. This also happend when this creb cycle(atp energy cycle) doesnt get enough oxygen to fully finish the cycle. Focus on breathing better and see if there is anything in your diet that needs to get altered.

one thing i did do is start having a protien shake before my run i think thats when it started happening i just mix protien with water but it seems like the cramping is slowly going away.
