i havent done deadlifts in a few months and i am starting to bulk again now and i got very weak on them...what are some good methods to get the numbers back up fast, i.e. assistance movements, rep scheme, etc?

Not sure what your routine is like. Ill say rack deadlifts from the power rack helped me majorly in increasing deadlift strength. I was doing them off the floor for months and got up to 460lbs. I wasnt able to surpass that for a while. So I started doing deadlifts off the power rack (with the pins set at the bottom of the rack) and worked my way up to 535lbs off the rack. By working in different ranges of motion it strengthens different parts of your deadlift. The bottom of the dead is my weakest point however, so when I went back to deads off the floor I only got 465,but havent really tested my max off the floor in a while. Also I like the barbell hack squat alot as well. Its the same as a regular deadlift only you place the bar behind your legs. Im much stronger on this movement. Its a nice variation. What you may want to do is switch over to deadlifts off the rack for some weeks. Work on those, youll love how much more weight you can move, and Itll strengthen your deadlift. Try adjusting the pins at different heights. I use the lowest setting, but have tried lockouts also. Hope that helps
