Getting a restraining order for email (electronic) harassment?

This sucks.

I used to work with this girl who apparently had a thing for me. She asked me out and, seeing as I was engaged at the time, obviously turned her down.

Well, for the past 2 months or so out of nowhere (I havent spoken with her in at least 4 months) she has gotten a hold of my wife's email address and has been constantly harassing her. Shes basically saying stupid shit (about how her and I are going to end up together, how shes actually my wife, etc) but as any of you with a significant other can imagine, its really starting to piss my wife off.

Yes, we have blocked the addresses she uses, however the beauty of hotmail is that you can sign up for as many as you want as long as you have no life.

Both my wife and I are tired of dealing with her shit, so Im wondering what other steps we can take.

Majority of her friends use Hotmail...plus her family, work, etc. I dont want her to have to go through that kind of trouble for something she has no control over.

Im thinking maybe a shovel to the girls kneecaps? Shit, shell still be able to type after that wont she.

Seriously, it's no big deal in switching email providers. Have her sign up with another and when she is finished, send out a mass mail to all of her friends/family etc informing them of the change.

all that the email had to do with God, was when I wrote: "In Christ, Steve G" at the end,
which is a common way that many Christians end their emails to each other. I dont see how that is creepy. other Christians stick that in their emails/letters to me all the time.
