Getten into bars

Well im 17 1/2 and me and a few buddies are gona try and get in a bar or two tonight. "legal" drinking age in Canada is 19 but just about everyone drinks by the time their 16 or 17....and i say i could pass for 19 (cuse im huge haha)...but i dont have a fake id or anything (friends do). Any tips on how to get in, how to dress, how to act and stuff like that? (never been to a bar)

Also, im not a drunk high school bastred...infact i almost never drink since my cut...but what the hell, life is short to care about a few cals....speeking of cals....what beer has the least?

good luck man,Im a doorman up here in canada and they will Id anyone who looks near the drinking age, unless you goto some dive that you wouldnt want to be in anyway,and they need the business

you need to know someone or have a good ID, i had 2 yr's exp doing this in AZ before i turned 21.

there are shops downtown toronto that sell id's,they take your picture etc,just make sure to get a out of province id like alberta or something,most bouncers have no idea what a out of province id looks like

one small door,.. so up,.. $50 bucks.. any i/d u want.. make sure its american.. perfferably michigan... TRUST ME it works! my buddy got on.. worked EVERYWHERE!! clubs.. bars.. little tricky at beer stores,. but theres a hologram(sp?) on it that should be geed... DONT use it at casino's ...etc... ur fucked then lol


just incase u want one... ....and dont mind the 50 bucks.. and u wanto to see hotties in the clubs muwhaha.... too bad im well over legal age lol i have to use the real thing! :'(

If bars in Canada operate the same way they do in the states, doormen usually get a bonus for each fake ID they snag so they'll be out to get you on that one.

And we only accept 3 types of ID. and they all have to be New Zealand. it aint worth the police action, not to mention having minors getting trashed. bad.

one trick that is so simple , i dont know why more people dont do it...say one of your buddies is of legal age or has a fake id saying he is, and he somewhat resembles you. Let him go to the bar first, hang back so it doesnt look like your with him...then he;ll come out about 5 minutes later saying he has to make a phone call, then without the bouncer seeing he;s passes you his ID...you go in using his ID..nice and simple...the friend who came out to make a phone call is not going to get ID'd again.

could work if theres a huge crowd, but we have around 300 a night (not that large) and you will remember the ID. remember, you arent looking at everyones ID, just those younger faces. so maybe out of 300, we look at 50. you develop memory for faces on the card and the person presenting it. if we suspect anything you dont get in, and probably never will as you definately never forget someone who trys to stiff you.

but would be interested in the success rate, for training purposes.
