Had my truck side-swiped in January by some guy around the corner driving in 2 feet of snow.....Went to court yesterday (I had to report as a witness) & the guy allegedly retained an attorney.....so we wait.....by 10:30 the lawyer still didn't show up.....eventually find out the guy is in trial in Superior Court.....the judge was PO'd but allowed a continuance.....

Well the guy was ticketed for inattentive driving + leaving the scene of an accident......He also has no insurance (which NO ONE seems to care about)

Now for the kicker -- hubby & I were coming home from our walk when a neighbor informs us that the SAME GUY sideswiped a car across the street!!!!!

What does it freakin' take to get an uninsured menace off the freakin' road?!?!

Well with all the commercials about non-insurance you'd think so!!

I've left numerous messages for the original officer -- the Prosecuter told me that HE has to start the process by issuing a ticket -- no return phone calls. I've reported him to the Insurance Commissioner who said they will have DMV get involved to get him off the street. Nada, nothing, zip!!

i don't think they can get one without it, but they can have one without... you just can't legally drive. I think. uhmmmmm not really sure. I have insurance, so it doesn't really bother me too much (unless some uninsured SOB decides to hit me...)
