i know it's not really logical thinking on my part, but i get caught up in the moment like germany did, wanting to see their empire and tech flourish.
even if hitler succeeded in subduing euroland how long would he have held on? i'm guessing not very long, trying to manage all those nationalities? constant civil war, look at the ukraine for example, occupied but never beaten.
