After reading massiveroids source posting, and everyones "BAN HIM!!" response, i cant help but notice something. It seems like there is some kind of source posting or people blatently asking for sources every day. THIS IS ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT. It seems to me that most people do it simply because they can get away with it. I think right now you need to institute a NO TOLERANCE policy towards source posting-if ANYONE posts as a source, looking for a source, or providing a link to a source, or any kind of solicitation of ANY kind-that person and their IP should be banned. IMMEDIATLY. PERMANENTLY. That is one rule which noone ever really breaks on AF and I think it is one of the things that elevates AF above this board. Now, i obviously like this board a lot-its fun, has some cool features, and has a lot of cool bros. Im not knocking this board. However, there are OTHER people on this board, who have no desire to use gear or sell it-THEY WANT TO BUST US. EVERY ONE OF US. And i can tell you the only real reason they read this board is because they can get info on people asking for sources and shit. I for one dont like it, and I dont think anyone else here does either. IT has to stop George. Im sure you like your board very much-we all like it too-but it is slowly degrading into another mmi or anabolex and one thing you can do RIGHT NOW is institute a NO TOLERANCE POLICY towards disussion of sources. Anyone wanting to talk about that can email each other. Even SCAMMERS. If someone has been scammed, they go through the mods. If the mods cant help, then they can post that they got scammed and have any intersted board members email them to find out who it was so they dont get scammed as well. Openly talking about sources is degrading this site and has a lot of unfriendlies watching. I think you should do something. Does anyone else agree??? Thanx bros METHYL
 
well put,massiveroids has copied a legit source site and claims his site was shut down and forced him to change sites.this guy is a joke.anyone that would post themselves as a source on this board,is more than likely a fake.who would risk thier buissness doing nonsence shit like that.
 
Then the newbie rules should be were you have to read them before you get your passcode.I don't think someone with 1 post should be killed from the board for a dumb mistake (no I did not do this)but you are right it is getting out of hand but I have seen worse as I am sure we all have:cool:
 
Source posting has been a constant and annoying problem with this board. I strongly agree with enforcing the "No Source Posting"rule. Time for the EF Police.
 
How many ways can you say "no source posting', if people cant understand that, kick em the fuck off the board...This should'nt even be an issue, it's as bad as can i drink winny....sheesh.....
 
We have new members joining every day. I can assure you that not all of them read the newbie rules. Most of them have stumbled on this site from search engines and the like. They see us talking about AS and they just ask for a source... if we could have the newbie post as a "sticky post" at the top of the page, I guarantee you we would not have such a problem with source posts and requests. Hell, we have people with over 100 posts that actually answer requests and tell people "hey, email me and I'll hook you up with a source." I think that should be curtailed as well.

I agree... I like this place and don't want to see it go to shit. Insta-banning source posters will help.

Also, keeping the newbie post permanently "sticky" on page 1 like Stew suggested might help keep things clean.

THIS IS A JOKE. SOURCE POSTING ISN'T ALLOWED BECAUSE GEORGE CAN'T BE AN ACCOMPLICE TO THE SALE OF AN ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE OR PROVIDE A FORUM WHICH ADVOCATES OR ALLOWS THE SALE OF THEM.

SO, WHY THE HELL IS EVERYONE GETTING SO WORKED UP ABOUT A SOURCE POST? IF ITS A LEGIT SOURCE, THEN IT PUTS THEM AT SOME RISK, TRUE. SO WE DON'T WANT TO BROADCAST OUR SOURCES TO THE WRONG ENTITY.

BUT WHY DOESN'T EVERYONE JUST CHILL OUT AND LET THE MODS DO THEIR JOBS? EVERYONE LEARNS THE RULES AROUND HERE EVENTUALLY. IF THEY DON'T FOLLOW THEM, THEY GET BANNED.

RELAX. TELL THE NEWBIES HOW IT IS AND DON'T BE A DICK ABOUT IT.
 
Good point jonson-my point is that source posting attracts the wrong crowd-trust me they wouldnt be here if we didnt give them a reason to. also no source posting is a rule and if they have any respect for this board then theyll follow the rules!! and since they dont, i think something needs to be done!

apparently, this guideline doesn't apply to massiveroids.

i thought he was banned months ago, yet is allowed to come back here under the same name and do the same damn shit. it's getting to the point where i am scared to be associated with this board :(
 
I used to monitor the boards and delete those posts promptly, but everyone has been screaming and complaining about their post being deleted that I said fuck it.

Ha!!! Anger is a gift huh ??? Bump to that too.. the only problem with banding them is they can just log on with a different name.... best way I see it is when you see the post e-mail a mod to delete it and don't reply to it as it only brings attention to it ??? Just a thought ??:rolleyes:

I hate to be a critique, but that kind of pisses me off, Cubano. I don't apprciate that policy. I would be pissed as hell if someone got a hold of my source, ordered from him, then posted "I just got my order from [email protected].... he is legit... etc" then my source gets busted because he gets set up by one of the feds who monitor these boards... Then, I'd probably go down with him as well as several others. That is piss-poor, bro. NO SOURCE POSTS should be allowed on this board. You are a moderator, have some balls.
