How exactly does AAS help you recover faster?

I mean i trained like an animal on var and I was never really sore, I could train the same muscle every 3rd day if i wanted to but didnt.

I'm not sure about the science behind, hope one of the teachers here can explain it, but I know is not like a miracle. If you train like an animal you still can be overtraining the mucles and they won't grow. I guess that faster recovery is more like if before you needed to rest one specific group 5 days, using AS would be down to 3 days...thats a reasonable faster recover.

P.D. I hope you don't follow those "how to lift instructions" in your signature...that would make people look more like an Orangutan instead of a well proportioned human specimen. And I see a lot of gorillas and orangutans in the gyms these days...

LOl i hear ya i just like the tone of overall psot in my sig, i think 2 many people worry about special exercises and crazy routines if they just lift as hard as possible on ALL sets you will reach your goal.

thanx for the post

Anabolic steroids work by helping the body's muscle cells produce more protein which, as long as the athletes works out, leads to increased muscle size and strength and, at the same time, also allows the body to produce more ATP, the "fuel" muscles need to move. These drugs also appear to increase blood volume and glycogen (blood sugar), and to inhibit the natural process whereby muscles cells that are no longer required are eliminated

Anabolic steroids work by stimulating the anabolic effect by binding or plugging into protein receptors in or on the cells that help create new proteins in the cells. This increased biological activity is called an increase in Ribonucleic Acid Activity (RNA Activity). The construction of new proteins helps increase muscle size and strength. Remember, this normally happens in the body. The steroids stimulate or increase this biological process by binding to the receptor sites on the protein cells.

Ihulk offers a real example:
Earlier in the year (around March) I aggrivated an old shoulder injury doing incline dB press. Got an MRI on the shoulder and sure enough I have a slight tear in the rotator cuff. Adding to the pain and annoyance, I also have a bone growth under the bicep that caues a "windshield wiper" effect when turning my arm in different angles and degrees. It would lock/unlock momentarily and it was a bit painful. So 2 things going on okay.

Well long story shot, the recommendation from the orthopedic surgeon was to fix both with surgery. The pain and locking was keeping me from lifting heavy (esp anything overhead) and stopping me from training in MMA, combat sports as well paddling/surfing etc. So this sucked caused I had a wicked cyc planned form June thru Sept.

Well I started to go light and added my cyc anyway and what a difference. Ran a solid Test (t-e, sus, undec)/Var/Stanz/Prov cyc and my shoulder pain is completely gone. Im sure the tear is still there but I've built so much mass around that area with solid lean muscle it doesn't even phase me. The locking under my bicep is almost gone. I have to really try to make it happen so I consider that annoyance minor (for now) as well. All these symtpons have gone away and I'm lifting extremely heavy and on my 15th week.

So it does something and Ihulk is diggin it big time. Adding Tren next week.
