general concensus on Policosanol?

good? bad? im thinking of taking a maintenence dose just in case, my mom's side of the fam has had high cholesterol, she just had 2 triple bypasses within 2 yrs. whats the mg on the maintenece dose for the policosanol? and after cycle begin Phosphatidyl Serine for its anticortisol effects.
