Here's a quick question for you. If they came out tomorrow and said that they could manipulate your genes and make you huge without all the work...would you do it?

I only ask, because they're making some pretty impressive gains in that area of research, and it looks like they're pretty close to being able to do it. Just thought i'd ask, maybe stir up some good conversation.

I wouldn't do it, because I actually enjoy the game more than the rewards...I also enjoy all the planning that must go into a sounds training program...with gene manipulation, all that goes out the window.


(But I would like to be a freak like Ronnie Coleman and the rest of that crew )

I agree with pretty much everything you said...but take it easy a little bit. They're not working on it to make babies pre-orderable. They're doing it to prevent (or reverse) the effects of certain diseases (such as muscle wasting with AIDS, or cachexia from aging). So what they're doing is not all bad, unless it gets into the hands of the wrong people...then it could get ugly.
