Yeah I did and not sure why my c drive is so full. It doesn't make sense.
How the heck can I make more room in my c drive w/out deleting some huge programs?
I mean why do I need to clean out my c drive to run my d drive?

If you have a D drive with plenty of space, you need to select that from your burner program as the place to put the temp files.

Right click on your C:\ drive.


go to tools tab and hit disk cleanup

Did that and still nodda.
But the d drive has no dvd in there and it's showing as NO FREE SPACE. How to I free space on my D drive?

Yeah, you need to have like 6 gigs free, before it burns to a blank disk, it makes a temp file. Unless your computer is old, you should have plenty of space. Did you do something like rip the movies to your hd?

No, my laptop is a yr old. When I put the DVD in to burn, I use the program SONIC to burn. Not sure if that would burn to the hd? If it did, where would I find them?

of course. the operating system doesn't recognize the free space because it's not NTFS available space.

Are you sure the DVD is blank??
