Geckos are cool !

One time I caught this really pretty lizard when I was about 8. I lived in Arizona at the time and planned to keep him as a pet. I bought a container and everything and left him outside in it with food and stuff. I came back the next day and he had been charred to death by the 122 degree weather, half of his skin was gone.

I cried for two hours.

That reminds me. When I was seven or so I had two goldfish, I took very good care of them for about three weeks. Then one day I Thought their aquarium was too bare and they might like to play with a couple of my little monster truck toys. I put them in the Aquarium and the fish died of germ contamination from my toys the next day.

I cried for two hours.

We need to talk about you and these animal massacres :o

We had a tokay down at our barn a few years ago.
It was about 8-10 inches and green with orange splotches all over. Huge head and eyes

We kept hearing this REAL LOUD sound coming up from that area of the property each evening.

du du du du du... TOKAY TOKAY TOKAY was exactly what it sounded like, hence the name.

Amazing how something so small can make such a loud noise.
He hung around the barn for a few days then apparently took off.

I have at least tokays that live on my house there reproducing and they do make the noise that y_lifter said its really loud. the funny thing is my girlfriend can hand feed a few of them now, they wait on the front porch just at dark, she feeds them, then they leave.
