gear on airplanes

theres been a lot of talk about this lately. i flew to philly last week from boston and i put all my gear in my check in baggage and had no problems....the guy at the counter asked me if i had any sharp objects in my bag wich i did, so i replied yes and he said ok no problem and checked my bags....i would definetly not put any gear or pins in your carry on but i think its very safe to put them in your check in....there philosophy is that even if there is sharp objects u wont be able to access them from where u will be sitting so its no threat really. just thought i would try to ease some minds- lexus

I still wouldn't do it though. They are randomly checking checked luggage at check in. The chances are good that they won't check your bag but it is till a matter of luck. Just my opinion.

Yeah pills should be fine. I would be nervous though to take any amps or needles in my luggage though. It would be funny, yet sad, to see some stacked dude with a bunch of amps and needles trying to tell the National Guard he is diabetic.

well if u pull all the labels off the bottles how can they dispute what it is. i mean if u say u have a certain conditon i dont think they will challenge it and i bet all the pros are carrying there shit around with them even with international flights. i havent heard anything bad lately- lexus
