gear in Amman, Jordan

im going to Amman, Jordan soon and was wondering if anyone could tell me if gear is over the counter there??

Most Middle eastern countries, everything is over the counter. I know this is true for Egypt and Lebanon. I can't see why Jordan would be any different. It could be an islamic thing that may change that.
