The construct of marriage has proven to be such a failure in this country. Why gays are so desperate to follow this mistake is puzzling, i would rather they go about forming a new more progressive approach to unions as opposed to mimicing the mistakes of straight people. Most people get married for the wrong reasons and then they add a child to the disastrous equation.

You guys are trying to make me out to be an ogre for stating the obvious. Just because people have practiced sexual deviance since Roman times doesn't make it right. Man-boy sex was practiced then too.

Deviant? Yes it is obvious that sex was designed to be between male and female, silly to argue otherwise.

No one said that you're an ogre - what makes you feel that people are thinking this about you? I believe that you're suffering from some form of mental illness that makes you believe others are thinking of you as an ogre. You're not - you're human - you need to stop thinking these unhealthy thoughts and get help with this mental disease that is causing you to associate things incorrectly.

And Man-boy sex seems to always be brought up by YOUR kind of people when talking about the gay population as a whole. Is this your only line of defense - to associate the typical gay person with man-boy sex such as you believe that people are associating you with an ogre? Once again, there's that mental illness that you have going on. Man-boy sex is no more associated with the typical gay man than you're an ogre. Just as others aren't associating you with being an ogre and just as man-boy sex isn't associated with the typical gay man, you need to get help with this mental disease that is causing you to associate things incorrectly.

I also see that you're associating AIDS with gay people too. Actually, many, many married couples across the world have contracted HIV. Many children are born with HIV. Blood transfusions in the 80's caused HIV to spread, especially among those that needed blood the most. There are also very few instances of lesbians contracting HIV. Just as others aren't associating you with being an ogre, just as man-boy sex isn't associated with the typical gay man and just as AIDS isn't solely a homosexual disease, you need to get help with this mental disease that is causing you to associate things incorrectly.

And the devastation of millions of marriages across the country because gay people might be allowed to get married is another association disorder. You and your partner control your destiny. If either one of you fuck up, then it's that which can screw up a marriage - not Bill and Tom who are 600 miles away that are allowed to get married. Just as others aren't associating you with being an ogre, just as man-boy sex isn't associated with the typical gay man, just as AIDS isn't solely a homosexual disease, and just as gay people getting married won't ruin a straight person's marital status, you need to get help with this mental disease that is causing you to associate things incorrectly.


You're living with a very unhealthy mental disease. I'm sure you've heard this before, but I doubt that you're associating it with you. In Africa and Asia which have the vast majority of the worlds AIDS cases it is spread predominantly by married, heterosexual men.

If special rights are to be attributed because someone chooses to have homosexual sex, why shouldn't rights be attributed because he decides to have man-boy sex? Wouldn't denying these rights be discrimination based on sexual orientation?

We got past those inequities right curling? I know you think you can't support homosexuality in any way because of the Bible but my brother, you have to realize that a human beings right to be treated equally supercedes anything a religious text might say. You can't follow the Bible verbatim because it's 2004, not 300 A.D.

The Bible is meant as a guide to living a good and virtuous life. Supporting equal rights for everyone is a good start along that path.

Bluepeter, I totally disagree with your post. If God can keep the earth in this solar system without us freezing or burning up for thousands of years I believe he can could give us a book of instuctions that are just as timeless don't you?
