when you guys drink 2 gallons a day of water can you count gatorade in there. like if you drink 2 litres of gatorade, can you drink less water.
 
I'd count it bruce, but I personally try and stay away from it because of the sugar.

I only really up my water intake when im trying to cut down for the most part, so thats why i avoid sugar during that time period, to help me shed that extra 1-2% bodyfat. :coffee:

Due to the water no longer bieng "clean" water because of the added compounds, He argued not even crystal light was "clean" water.......Im not sure how much truth to that there is...I do know that i posted a thread on it..and no one could really answer the question...so for those that said yes you would...why?

Oh i hear you bro...im the same way..i live by crystal light...and when i get a hold of a gatorade especially right after an intense workout ...man i suck that thing down within 60 seconds.

But i wonder if you wouldnt count it dueo the sodium or carbs in it..meaning if you did, then why wouldnt you be able to count everything else as H2O as well...like 50% juice and 50% water...soda...im looking at my diet coke right now...first ingredient is carbonated WATER....so is it safe to say that i can drink a liter of diet coke and count it as part of my H2O intake...making sense...

Diet coke... now thats my crack. I will be drinking that crap for life. 6am and Im walkin around drinking my Diet coke.
 
i wonder too, but coke makes my mouth dry so i have to believe its not like water. i use country time lemonade and raspberry cristal lite. gatorade has carbs in it but the are supposed to be good ones whatever that means, you are a diet guru. i know machine uses gatorade powder in place of dextrose, so originally i was using it post workout but ive found that i can take down a litre of gatorade in 20 minutes and its a real plus if its beneficial

Well Diet Coke has Caffien in it, so it would act as a bit of a diuretic.
Plus, some studies have shown that asp. (artificial sweetener in many drinks) can trigger "hunger" in the brain.

Gatoraide - definitely counts as water, unless you are talking Biochemistry. Obviously it's not "clean" water, but it still definitely is a hydrating liquid for the body, so you count it.
 
wut about root beer it has no caffeine but its considered a coke right? maybe its the carbonation that gets ya?

True but IMO i don't or wouldn't count anything other than water itself as water intake. gatorade is ok but you have to count the sugars and carbs in it as they do count...

LOL! in your case i would say you have nothing to worry about..but people should really just consume "clean" water and add in other things like gatorade and crystal lite to that in a supplementation format and not a replacement format...
 
Without a bottle I cannot confirm this but I believe Gatorade might have alot of Sodium too. For a moonface, bloated, muthafuka like myself I'd stay away from it.

yea you do. fuckin life saver for me last year. was 117 all summer in the desert. water was starting to make me sick. raspberry iced tea for me, i just make a gallon of it load up a bunch of ice in there and carry it around the gym or whateva. you gotta wipe your face when leaving the gym though or they will think you wear lipstick. i know dbbt feels me on that

tell me about it. my best friend at college was 215 5% year round. he ate maybe one meal a day and a metrx after his workout. smoked two packs a day of cigs and drank coffe all day. he took winny 50mg eod with 20mg of var ed for years straigh with a few weeks off here and there. he benches 500 lbs no problem and its no lie. that is how i got into juice. he has a sick build but i think its all genetics. back then i thought it was the winny doing it as he told me. i was eating 2500 cals and taking win eod for like 6 months, thank god i found ef. grass is always greener. though i like my build i hate my chest and legs. my arms are so damn long that its a bitch to get them looking as thick as they actually are. i mean they can measure 16 or more on a measure but if they look like 15's then who gives a shit

People go to the gym for different reasons,
Some wanna lose weight, others would like to gain it. Some just want to be fast, some are there for the abs, some for the bi's only.
Some bodybuild while others want to be flexable and acheive the fitness look only. Some want to be strong and others want to be big, other people just want the look that gets the girls.
So its like I said "people go to the gym for different reasons"
People juice for different reasons.....all I was saying is If I had what bruce has now with all the height, there would be no reason for me to go back to the gym.

cause height pulls in ass like it ain't no thang. but i would never quit. i do what i do, excepted that i'm long and lean a long time ago. well i got up to 185 after my last cycle of deca test and dbol. i crashed real hard and lost a lot of it, went down to 170 or less i think at one point. quit aas for a few months cause of that bp and i got deca dick for 3 months. hard ons but no nut busting. all natural i ate real hard to get back up around 181 and then i got sick as a dog. with this metabolism its such a bitch. i mean sick for 4 days and you lose 10 or 15 lbs, thats no joke. i can take off 6 lbs in a day without eating. so i should have gone natty back to 185 before starting but i got the gear and couldn't help myself. i was 176 when i started and i'm at 182 if i weigh at night. but i am leaner and the aifm and yes have shed a lot of water and fat around my abs. so i gained like 5 lbs within 3 weeks of tbol, week 4 sucked didnt feel eq at all. then 5 got better week 6 i felt it and pumps were back. put on like one more pound since then. also had some crazy shit happen in my life the past month so its been rough. i hope to gain 7 more pounds, it is possible i think.

My buddy's a personal dietician and he's always told me the best thing to do is dilute Gatorade 2/1 with water. The taste is almost the same and you end up with an electrolytically balanced fluid that closely mimics your body's natural composition (or something like that).

Straight Gatorade is too strong. Dilute it and then you can definitely count it as water.

Many athletes do this - it makes a bottled version of an I.V.
 
well since i put a shit load of ice in there i think i'm close to doing that. i don't like any thing without ice. apple juice orange juice all of it, i use ice.

I do this but I buy Gatorade powder from sams club and mix in a big 64oz jug. I can make it exactly like I want it and I do just that, 2 to 1.

Ya bro.. Different strokes for different folks....

Bruce is going for a lean look. He has it. If you read his posts, he doesn't like gear such as deca, heavy test or tren. I'm sure if he used those products he would be thicker and fuller. He stick with EQ, var and tbol.. He needs that look for work, if I needed to fit an image for income, I wouldnt risk it so that I got the approval of guys on a message board.

I think its good to have a variety of builds in here. Take physiques like Bruce, Mak, Carth, Ret and Needsize. They are all different for different reasons. Learn from all of them and decide what is best for you, they already have....

i have love for all and respect all builds. mj always double fisted one cup gatorade one cup water, garnett does this kobe does this many do. when i competed in any of the 8 sports i played i always did this. i like to drink a gatorade before activity then go half and half throughout. i think i am going to start bringing one bottle of water and one bottle of gatorade from now on. cristal light is mucho expensive anyway. thanks for all that compliment if you have a problem and no pics suck a dick no homo. joking doesnt bother me at all i know what i am and say shit like that about myself. all good fellas. thanks for all your replies on and off topic

Sometimes I like to make some real sweet gatorade just before lifting. I'm normally fasted a few hours first but it really gives me a boost. Then I lkie to sip on 2/1 water/gatorade powder mix during intense workouts. Especially if I'm lifting for more then an hour.

yea i was never tryin to pass that off as me, i guess most people just dont follow boxing like me. that is roy jones jr. he is 5 11 174 in all my avi pics of him, i want his exact build. followed him since 88, always loved his build being a boxer myself. i met him at mandalay and played craps with him and winky wright. its gonna be tough to attain his build cause he is 5 11 and i'm almost 6 4 but i think if i get up to 205 or so i can attain it. but i won't give up my ripped look i love it, i'll take lean gradual gains until i get there. so now you know why peeps thought i was black lol.
 
Have you tried Propel fitness water. good stuff? ALot less calories in comparison to gatoraid and less sugar. Only 10 calories per serving. It also has all the electrolytes to help you. Give it a try you will get addicted.

i still haven't gotten over his Olympic "rip-off" to that Korean??

I thought would kill his career, but I followed him all the way to becoming (still in my opinion) the most versatile, best lb for lb, at times bored boxer of all time.

yea mj did it all the time. i mean truth be told i'm built like a hooper. roy was 3 and under for some of his fights. when he tested postive for nandrolone and anavar before his fight which was under table, he was 2.5% i believe

yes the cycle is good i'll post pics and have my girl take them so i can do some justice and actually flex instead of holding the cam straight and trying to get my body in the picture. i put on about 5 lbs so far. 4 from the 3 weeks of tbol and then one more this week which is week 6 or 7. completely side free, libido is sky high from proviron. can't wait to run var at 100mg ed that should really help me with some separation in the arms with the strength it promotes. i am surprised that eq does actually shrink your testes, didn't think it would, so i have run some hcg here and there to keep em bouncing right. i reccomend this to anyone who doesn't like test or deca and wants a side free cycle without dropping money on primo. pct shouldn't be hard as i am not sky high like i was on dbol and test, i just feel stronger, recover faster and get better pumps and vascularity. i will probably only run eq from now on unless primo becomes available at a lower price.

clomid and nolva pct works for many, the boys come back if you do that, but with hcg its like an air pump for your nuts. i mean blast 1000ius in there for a few days straight and they are full as can be. that is why i can't believe it when people say they don't use it, you can inject im you know

LOTS of sodium (aka "electrolytes) in Gatorade. Can bloat you and even dehydrate you even more - if you're not athletically exerting yourself.

Plus sugar = carbs = calories... But if you're not dieting, whatever. Watch your sodium intake, though.

anyone know what the difference between regular gatorade and the new endurance gatorade is? I assume it is more potassium or sodium but I have yet to compare the bottles labels. Thanks.

Its still a liquid that is not carbonated therefore your body will count it as water. All gatorade contains is pretty much salt (electrolytes) sugar and food coloring.
