Gas prices in the Riverhead to Hamptons, NY

Went up 80 cents today acrosss the board (reg, mid grade, super).

$3.69 for regular almost $4 for super.

EVERYONE is at the gas station right now....its fucking insane...every gas statino i passed was PACKED

i just got a fillup with regular at 2.87/gal

around 44 bucks...and that is by far the most i've paid at the pump.

Yeah tell me about it....this morning it was $2.69...this afternoon it was $3.19. I heard on the news today that we should continue to see a serious price increase up til Sept. 15 at the latest.....The EPA said that they had to impose such price increase to help support the aid that their giving the emergency vehicles (helicopters,boats...etc..)

No shit.....folks on the island at bitching at 2.69 - which is what I filled up on at lunch....it has jumped to right at 3 dollars in the last hour though

I'm glad I don't have to drive much...to me it's not a big deal.

What is a big deal is my jeep's leaking tranny fluid all over my front end....possibly the garage's fault that installed my radiator and connected a hose/gasket wrong. However the shifting problem I've had for a while seems better after the fluid's been topped off and then some.
I also need new offroad worthy stabilizer links, perhaps some quick disconnects, and a nice beefy tie rod, all of which will cost more than gas......actually now that I think of it the last thing my jeep needs right now is more gas.
