Gall Bladder Removal

So my gall bladder got sucked out. (Laporoscopic). I hear I can't lift for 2 months or so which really stinks. Anyone go through this - and what's your experience? How long do you think you really need to lay off?

my wife had hers removed about 6 years ago... she seems to think that light lifting would be ok a little sooner than that...
