Hey bros, So I know the bros have done lots of cycles. My first cycle i gained 20 kept 15...second cycle i gained 10 kept 5. I am on my third cycle and my question is after you have done a few cycles how much weight have you guys kept after pct. How many pounds are you stoked if you gain after doing cycles for years. Cause i know you don't get gains like the early ones....or all the pros would be like 700 lbs. lol
Thanks guys

Well the key is to make sure that you are eating enough to maintain that weight, in addition to a good PCT, but as it boils down to it with everything else DIET is such a key. Another large factor would be how far above your natural limit are you. If you have gone well past your natural limit, its going to be so much of a chore to be able to keep those gains without assistance. I really stopped measuring my gains by the amount of weigh I gained or kept, I look more towards the strength in my lifts, because there are so many factors with the substances that a good portion of it could be water that is lost in the end.

damit, i gotta be slower at responding to some of the new posts, second time tonight that there was no poll when i came in to reply.

so you dont get any kind off weight anymore? only strength gains

Oh no, yeah I still gain weight, but i'm more concerned with my strengh over my weight. It takes muscle to lift the weights, not the weight of my body and all its baggage. I'd love to just have strength gains and no weight. I've never been into it from a bodybuilding standpoint as much as a powerlifter standpoint, but at this point i think they have become meshed.

yeah...well for me its important to have the weight as well...im a fighter...it nice to have weight to really hold people down...but it seems that gains really slow after your first cycles...

Yeah they do, but I think for many reasons. From a reality standpoint, most dont wait until they have reached their natual limit before hitting the juice. I know I didnt. So being well below that limit and hitting the juice and considering if you are eating and workign out right, your gains will be enormous. So once you actually reach that natural limit, it becomes harder to make continual gains plus continuing to maintain that weight with adequate calories becomes more of a struggle.

Yes i know...but it is very hard to find out what ones natural limit is...i am just over 6foot...so i would hope that mine is like 220 or something...i am 200 right now after 2 cycles

Almost 100% of fighters would say the opposite: They are seeking strength without weight gain. Weight is just baggage on the ground.

agreed... it's a strenth to weight ratio that matters in any grappling sport... if you are gaining weight you had better damn be sure that you're adding the strength to go along with it or your just shaving off your competitive edge!!

I see myself doing another Test cycle (4th cycle) and just cycling on and off var or tbol. Those two seem to be very mild and suit me needs. I'm expecting to reach my goals by next cycle and after that just work on staying lean, preserving gains, and increasing strength.

i think its kind of hard to find your genetic limit.. 2 guys at the same height might have a difference of 30-40lbs, but might both be at their limit.. due to bone structure and build, they just cant carry as much mass as another the same height.. me for example i have really long legs.. another person 6'5'' might have a longer torso and possibly carry more weight.

i dont know where i was going with that.. so ..ya..

first cycle gained 25 kept 15 or so (no pct) 2nd cycle gained 30 kept 25(pct) this one so far ive gained 12 or so.. my diet has been shitty and i can tell the size gains have suffered dramatically

i agree that diet is the major factor.. if your eating 7k calories theres no way you arent going to put on size, ON or OFF..

There's a lot to be said about genetic limit, where you reach a point of diminishing returns and just can't get any bigger. At 5'3", I lifted natty for 8 years to reach a limit of about 160 lbs. After 20 more years of BB and "supplementation", I finally reached and am now able to maintain 185-190 fairly easily. To get over 200lbs, however, is another story. Damn near impossible without doubling up on supplements/protein/cals - everything! The sides and bloating are just not worth the return. Nowdays, I'm stoked if I keep even 2 lbs!!!
