On Feb. 14 I decided to get back in the gym. Well since then, my diet has been great, workouts feeling good, and with no creatine or such supplements I went from 148lbs. to 173 in less than a month. Now granted it's not all muscle and a little bit more belly, but hey, I take it anyway I can get it. I just became a member to this board, but I have been reading comments from it since I started back in then gym. So I dedicate my wieght gains to the inteligent members of EF.

Are you looking to get strong, or just trying to bodybuild and look good?

If you're trying to get strong, good for you on your gains.

If you're trying to bodybuild and look sexy, are you "sure" you're happy with your weight gain?

I really can't see more than 5 lbs of that 25 being muscle gain. A lb. of muscle growth a week NATURALLY without any supplements whatsoever is hard enough to do, never mind anymore than that.

I just think sometimes people's vision get hazy when they are trying to bodybuild..They look at the scale and see they've gone up 15 lbs and think they look good, when in fact 13 of those lbs. was fat gain. I see this a lot on boards on the net with people posting their post bulk pics and are like "yeah check me out look at how much better i look" and they got a lot fatter.

I'm just wondering, not putting you down. I just don't want to see you get clouded into thinking you really put on 20 lbs of muscle in a month and you look good, and then go taking your shirt off in the soon to be warm weather and have people laughing at you calling you fatass when you thought you were shredded.

I am not new to the wieght room. I have played baseball all my life along with working out. It has been a little over two years since I last lifted. Back then it was endurance lifting, my goal now is to get fat, though gain muscle, and ripp it up later. I don't look in the mirror and think, damn i'm huge, I say hello belly. But that doesn't bother me right now. I guess i'm just a proud fat gainer. But for the record, my upper body is alot bigger than it was when I started back.

wel i just came off a cutting diet and in 1 week 2 weeks i gained 10 lbs but thats because i was @ 2000 cals and bumped it up to 2500 then the next week 3000 so my muscles were trhiving for it but now i cant gain (ectomorph) it happeneds every time i try to gain weight but im not doing any cardio for 2 months just eat sleep work out, but i do go out side for 6 hours a day so ye im alwa6ys active.

Im like u i dont care what people think becaus i know after these 2 months i will be alot bigger than them! ( skinny ass people get on my nerves) because they think everyone whould be like them but im sorry i dont wanna b a trwig!!

i just think this everytime i eat i eat clean and i think im gonna be big! so no matter how much fat u gain it should only take 1 -2 months to get it off with the rightdiet and excercise!!

good for you. if your happy go with it. just be aware of fat gains and attempt to keep them in check.

Well I'm here to say that you don't HAVE to get fat while bulking man. I mean yes you will undoubtedly gain SOME fat, but there's no excuse or sense to adding on THAT much fat during a bulking phase (unless you're going into Sumo). You don't need to say "hello belly" you can possibly still say "hello 6 pack" while saying "hello muscle gains".

If you want some diet advice, post up your entire diet. Maybe you never really tried bulking up correctly and are eating too much of the wrong shit. You say you previously lifted only for endurance so that's why I say this.

You say you want to rip it up later...If you keep it up at this rate, in 2 months, you will have added 40 lbs of fat and 10 lbs of muscle. Do you have ANY IDEA how long it will take to drop off all that fat? Do you have ANY IDEA how much of the muscle you gained will come off with it? Probably all of it plus some. And when it's all said and done you will be fatter and have less muscle mass than you did when you started it, and you'll jump off a bridge.

Shit, bro, you must have been injecting sust straight into your nuts! But seriously, you say you got great weight gains, but a good deal of it is "belly", meaning bloat. So I guess you not only did a dbol or dbol and test cycle, but you did some hardcore dbols. Just curious, how many mg per day of dbol did you use, if you actually did us Dbol?
