gaba is just an inhibitory hormone in your brain. Benzos and other meds increase your gaba levels. Good for sleep, but obviously bad for other things that we like to do. But i recommend other ways to get sleep.
I've tried it and used up top 7 grams at a time. If taken on an empty stomach, I definitely feel it. It causes a tingling sensation, feels as if my skin is drying and shrinking although it isn't. Right now I use P-7 and sublingual melatonin nightly and sleep soundly without fail.
now L-theanine increases GABA levels in the brain....so that might be another way to do it now too....because GABA isnt as accessible cause of the Blodd Brain Barrier...so less might get you more.....ill try it out
