i just watched some old guy give a lecture over nutrition and aging on a university network channel....i didn't see the whole program but, anyways, one thing i did catch is that he doesn't eat red meat due to the fact that the animals are fed grain that has been sitting around in a silo, where toxins and fungus grow on it. these toxins are known to cause cancer.

i figure his diet something very similar to this: http://www.snyderhealth.com/printable_pages/menus_p.htm

what do you think?

ive read/seen about a fungus which grows on wheat, and which was attributable to most of the stomach cancers occuring in rural parts of china

not sure how easy it is for it to affect the person who eqats the animal, but if the toxin enters the eaten tissues at high enough concentrqations im sure it could, whether it does woould require some evidence to this, animals fed on food grown from crude oil substrate did have a funny odour/taste and that suggests they might, but i would want to see evidence before i took their word on it
