I love airplanes and flying, and in fact I attended flight school and passed the FAA exam to get my general aviation license... But ran out of $ to pay the instructor before my time was up to log my 40 hours
. But I HATE to fly on commercial flights since the new terrorist crap rules (which do nothing to stop terrorism, BTW). I usually commute between Dallas and Los Angeles by car. It only takes 21 hours, and it can be an easy 18 hours to fly when you count the cab rides, stopovers, and airport delays. The worst was a "short, LOL" flight from LA to Vancouver... Nearly 20 hours to go 990 miles.
Just to be clear, I'd have no issues getting on any of the planes being questioned for cracks. Those will be safer than ever, once inspected.
