yea party was in Va.. one of the biggest clubs here Granby Theater... people have no fucking clue about music, they listen to the radio all day long and go to the club to listen to the EXACT same fucking bullshit they have been listening to all day... You seen these fucking monkeys trying to dance to that hip hop bullshit??? not to mention every fucking hip hop top40 dj play the exact same bullshit songs every time they spin, songs we listened to in High School, vanila ice i hear everyyyy time im out to those parties... pure bullshit

Never partied in VA, but when I was partying in Miami (I'm from NY) I was talking to a DJ who really started the whole house scene in atlanta back in the day. I'm sure they're people like you looking to go to a good house club in VA. Continue to try to get it going and it will really pay off for you in the end. Figuring out how to reach all these people and organize your events is what you need to do.

no doubt about it, but trust me battle i have been fighting for a long time!! i'm rated the best house dj here in va and the only one that does WMC every year and also residency in clubs in NYC and NJ, i have 2 clubs down here i do on a weekly basis and pack out every single time i play... its still now enough 80-90% of club crowd here is all about their top40-hip hop.. this party was a huge reason why ive been so stressed the fuck out

House music is good too, not my thing...I'd rather go to a rock concert.

I realise you're venting, but to each his own man...just cause you don't like hip hop doesnt mean it's still not selling like crazy and people fuckin love it.

Besides, I can't dance to house music. I can nod my head and pretend im enjoying it, except i'd be so fucked on e or and think the lazers are trying to kill me.

You can dance to hip hop....very easily...and it's a good music to chill to

I'd imagine you need to be high on e to listen to house....

the_alcatraz i hear what your saying to each his own... i grew up in France where house music was THE only music... so you can imagine the shock of a difference coming here and trying to adapt... so many people i turn them into my music and are like "WOW" its so much different.... and you have to realize another thing its a whole other crowd... my girl cannot walk into a hip hop club without 30 to 50 guys starring her down like they want to eat her, and disrespecting her at the same time, i would get into so many fights, compare to a house club where people actually dress nice and respect the girl, no ones there trying to disrespect a girl, starring down and licking their lips, everyone just wants to have a good time, feel good and meet good people... Thats how it is down here, dont know about up there... Music is a language, i can go on for hours about this bro, every song every set is created to make you feel a certain type of way, no other music has that ability...
