I just found out that someone, perhaps marketing, has hired a new person, starting Monday. They couldn't be bothered to even tell me at all that this person was starting so we could get them a computer, accounts, voicemail, all that shit. Only way I found out was they sent an e-mail to the wrong person about training.

And, they couldn't be bothered to tell us who was moving to make room for the new fucktard.

Are all HR departments comprised of mouth-breathing morons who need a flowchart to tie their own god-damned shoes?

Come on...just set the guy up......

Y'know, if it was just this once, I wouldn't care. But they do this to me every damned time. It's like everything they need from us is an afterthought, but boy do they get pissed if their voice mail or e-mail isn't ready when they want it.

Come to find out, it's a marketing person, which doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Marketing has become notorious for telling us things at the last minute, without so much as a thought about what it might entail to meet their request.

To me, it is completely disrespectful to just throw things at us as an afterthought.

Ahhhhhhhhhh

Not just marketing....

I have clients that do that to me all the time.

Case example, after 750 sq ft of limestone arrives, the client informs me to inform the tile guy - BTW we've decided to put in radiant heat under where the stone is to be place the next day.

:eyes:

Or how about 7 months worth of meetings and finding out that the architect specs out stainless steel upper kitchen cabinets but DOES NOT LABEL THAT ANYWHERE on any drawing!

And of course there's always the 8PM phone message request to have you meet a sub at a clients house at 7:30 AM the next day but you don't get said message until 9:30 AM the same day you were supposed to be there.

That sucks!

Or like when I'm working the till and somebody in line says "looks like someone puked up their happy meal" and I gotta go clean it.

It's somehow comforting to know that I'm not the only one that experiences it.

Seems like there ought to be SOMEONE here that could do something about it, but no one wants to.

Yikes....Someone pissed my angel off!

Sounds like the new person may NOT have the proper tools in order to work Monday!
