Well... I just got back from a town hall with all employees that explains it, about 4 years ago Dell bought the company but left us independent... now they got greedy/commercial and are going to launch us worldwide, the center here will now be for Tech Support only that's why they closed every other department, that's why I still get to keep my job, we now have to do a bit of sales in order for the call center to be "profitable" and I am no longer an Alienware employee, I'm now a Dell employee of the Alienware Division (how uncool ) they wanted me to sign a paper saying I'm now a Dell employee, which I refused to sign, here in CR when a company changes names by law they are supposed to fire you with all benefits and then re-hire you and they are n ot doing it, not yet at least... so I didnt sign shit, one way or another I'm getting my $

In theory the firing is now done and we will actually rehire by October since call projections for december are twice the amount

Oh yeah, HP, CISCO, Fujitsu and Amazon are all hiring and very close with matching salaries... I already have diferent bros positioned in all those just in case I need help
There's always the posibility of working as a counselor in a rehab center which is my tru profession but doesnt pay well enough to pay for my degree.... but It's like a 4 hour drive
