Sorry to hear that York. My Father-in-Law is bald on top and has that horseshoe thing going. Only thing though is that he grows it real long on one side then flops it over to make it look like he has hair on top. When he is out working and that flap of hair falls down, hell, it's about halfway down to his shoulder blades. I call it his "coon skin cap" like Davy Crockett wore. :lmao:
It's funny looking! Some guys just can't handle being bald. I think if I was going bald I would just go ahead and shave the head. Looks better!

Give in. Be bald. Be proud. There's no point in fighting it. Do yourself a favor by shaving your nugget clean or by invetsing in a good set of har clippers (the 1/8" attachment leaves a nice looking stubble). Besides, nothing screams "HEY! I'M BALD!" like a comb over or a rug.

Paulos, no one should have to suffer hair loss at 17. Tell him to get some propecia or something.

I told his ass to get some rogaine but he won't do it, he wastes money on shit like bows and arrows and crap.

York...forget the rogaine, it has only been shown to be effective for a very small % of users, and even in this group only a relatively few get "good quality" hair regrowth. Most only get some peach fuzz. Also, once you start using it you must use it for the rest of your life or you will lose any results you have gotten. If it really bothers you get quality hair transplant surgery. The results are fantastic and you have the hair for life. It is not cheap but it is worth it. I know several people who went to the Bosley institute and the results were great.

Hey smartass, I was only trying to help. Why don't you do some research and then maybe you would have some idea what you were talking about. Read the following:

"The two proven anti-hair loss therapies, the lotion minoxidil (Rogaine) and the tablet finasteride (Propecia), work in different ways -- minoxidil by stimulating new hair growth and finasteride by slowing the rate of hair loss.
Minoxidil was the first drug proven to regrow hair and approved by the FDA. This popular, topical treatment is available over the counter, and must be applied twice daily directly on the balding area.
Only a small percentage of users grow cosmetically significant hair, which is usually only thin hairs on the back of the head. It has not been proven to grow hair in the receding temple areas, which is usually the biggest concern of hair loss sufferers. And if you ever stop using the product, anything you have grown from the treatment will fall out."

Luckily the chemical spill rendered me the ability to only grow 1/8 of an inch long hair on my head. Sometimes I yearn to grow hair like John Denver's back in the day, but then I see these worthless hairbags walking around waiting to be shot and I thank the lab for the accident.

Skinned.

Trust me I am much more qualified then you to discuss this...he is not bald just loseing, you are correct that once you have balded it can be diffucult to regrow cosmetic hair with just minoxidil...but if you are starting to bald I can be a great aid. And as for the rest of his life, the baldness cure is 5 years away. If he follows the info I gave him hell have a change, hair transplants are a big time investment that cannot be reversed. Which means hell be fucked when a true cures here.

peace
