it is frozen on pause I have tried to get it unlocked but no luck Is there anyway to reset it?

Thanks doll going to wiat tell the batter dies appears to be frozen maybe once it dies and I plug it in things will be ok

find a specific nano forum, ive heard of this problem and they all tried the battery drain first

Oh that is a major PITA ... no easy way to reset it.

super,

plug your ipod into a power source, and hold down the 'menu' button (top of the wheel) and the 'enter' button (the middle button on the wheel) for 6-10 seconds.

this will reset it without erasing your ipod.
