Fuck Dell!!!!

god damnit i'm SO livid right now. FIRST OFF, they need to stop employing fucking immigrant workers who are incompetant on this country's language let alone their damn job

so last oct 17 i buy a inspirion laptop.... it was faulty so they give me a new computer on warranty, no problem right?

so now all the sudden the damn things screen starts just going black after being on a few seconds, im still on warranty,

so i call and they run me through this hour long trouble shooting BS where nothing is obviously going to fix the problem.

so an hour or so finally goes by and she decides to make me a case or whatever finally, but NOPE dumbshit fucks up and has to restart her fucking computer and RE ENTER all the info which takes another 45 mins. THEN i'm on hold for ANOTHER 30-40 mins while they have "technical difficulties" with their system, yea i bet if i was shelling out 2k$ for a new laptop there would be no tech difficulties holding up the process

anyways, dumbbitch finally gets it working and says their gonna swamp out my lcd screen, i say hold the phone, i'm under warranty i want a new computer like they did last time

by this time i'm totally pissed off and not even listening to what shes mumbling to me so i say just put me on with your supervisor.

but no, they dont have supervisors in that dept, i need to call customer service and go through all this shit again and deal with some other immigrant asshole

i'm cooling down a bit before a call now and take up the rest of my day with this garbage, before i really wig out

all i want is a new computer or the new comprable model thats out, just as they did before and i think since i'm under warranty it shouldnt be a question

what do you guys think? being in school and everything i really cant afford to be without a computer for 10 days as they are suggesting
 
If tech support runs the way it did when I worked there, your computer isn't technically under warranty like you think. The support that you purchased, entitles you to have a faulty part replaced for free. They will then either send the notebook to Tennessee or another place to have the LCD replaced. If it does it 2 or 3 times, then they will consider RMA'ing the entire notebook. Again, these policies are a couple years old so they may have changed.

I've never had problems with Dell. You might also want to consider learning english yourself before going off on "immigrants" who can't speak english, not that there is anything wrong with that. It boggles my mind how many people will complain about others not knowing english when they can't speak or write it properly themselves.

Dell has the most horrible customer service and their financial dept is in a coma - this has only been over the past two years or so.

I get fustrated about the foreigners to that dell has to aswer customer service calls. I mean if they want to hire minorities that can't speak english properly they should put them on the production line not in customer service. That is stupid.

By the way, they don't generally hire immigrants to run their tech-support lines. They outsource to third world countries. So, when you call the Dell line, you are transferred to India or Malaysia, Vietnam, etc. Therefore, they are not technically immigrants.

I know it's semantics, but I figured I would clear that up.
 
i really don't like the idea of american jobs being moved overseas, but what are you going to do?

Heaven forbid that these Corporations pay people a living wage.

It's fucked up. They make a promise to the customer when a service/tech contract is made. The customer pays extra one way or another to get said service, only to get ripped off by having substandard tech support. If they don't hire people that can communicate effectively in English, then they are not fulfillin their side of the bargain.
