Front squat PR- 135!

Fuck, thats some big weight for a woman.

I don't know how you do it, I couldn't do them until my shoulders where big enough to work the bar into my shoulder groove.

Props to you!

thanks :) problem being I still have some nice bruises onmy shoulders so the strapless top is out for tonight.

LoL. You ever do standing calve raise and get those nice red lines on top of your shoulders?

I'm sure that would catch someones attention in a strapless shirt.

I squatted pretty heavy at this really upscale club in Chicago once, the kind where they have jacuzzis and saunas and razors, shampoo, shaving cream, moisturizer, mouthwash, etc in the locker rooms. people were looking at me kinda funny and finally I saw in the mirror the backs of my shoulders were all torn up.

hell yeah!! good job! thats better than i can do front squat right now, i wont go past 95 until my knee feels 100%. keep up the hard work

Absolutely fantastic. Very impressive. You should wear the strapless top so that every time someone asks you what the bruises are from you can say "Front squatting more than you"

I find the clean grip more stable and causes less bruising/pain on the shoulders.

I am unable to hold it clean grip...wish that I could!!!! It should be A LOT more stable which would be a good thing. I've nearly dropped over 400 on front squats before holding it like you do. There just isn't much room between my front delts and my throat to put the bar.

actually- the bar is against my throat! I know a couply bodybuilders that have passed out from front squats cutting off their air :worried: (im not that hardcore....yet).
 
I can't hold it clean grip either. My arms are way too big to let the weight collapse into my clavicles. I can hold it on my delts but I don't go heavy with it.
