Friend Placed small order from China, should he be worried?

Hello, my friend just placed a small order from China. Lives in US (california). It's been years since has placed any orders and is nervous as hell since he has a series 7 license and runs a stock firm.

What is the chances of him getting busted? Thanks. He is paranoid as hell... any information is helpful!

I'm new to the board but not new to the business. If your friend legitimately just placed a "small order" I wouldn't even give it a second thought. Even if the package gets snagged, he may get the letter from customs, he may not, but they certainly won't be kicking his door in. Typically those situations of reverse stings or raids have a "more to the story" type scenario floating around. Not just 1 purchase. Typically when a dealer or something is being investigated they may contact customs to intercept the packages just to help build the case, but it wasn't the intercepted package that began the investigation. In summary, if it was a small order I wouldn't even give it a second thought. Worst case, it gets snagged and returned to the sender. I had many and I mean many packages seized, Never a problem except the inconvenience.

Dude....lol seriously tell your "friend" that if its a small amount then it will be fine. Unless its powder...then the small amount actually is alot and then could be a problem.
