We thought he had a stroke but it turns out it was an aneurysm. They med-vac'd him to a better hospital apparently and he's in ICU but still not conscious (this happened 10:30 this morning)
This is very traumatic. it took 10 mins for Emergency personel to arrive all the while he was having tremors and then he was vomitting and blood came out of his nose.
I'm really upset by this. I worked very closely with him for my first 1.5 yrs on the job - sat next to him and we became close.
We had a counselor here onsite already so we could all process through this traumatic event. I cant even concentrate on what Im doing here and I feel a heavy weight in my chest and head. Like i need a nap in order to cope.
Anyone else ever experience this kind of thing on the job?
