electrical wires can hold a car but they cant withstand some snow and ice and wind?
:(

that has to be photoshopped, i dont see how those lines could hold a car
there are 3 wires. also, some overhead cabling is bloody thick braided stainless steel. its easily possible imo

now what the hell did the car fall off, i want to know

i dont think the car would snap the cables, i just think the part that holds the cables to the pole would give way

the cable is continuous, and those things holding the wire away from the pole are ceramic, and quite strong

i see what youre saying though, and think it would come down to how the hell it got up there in the first place...statically holding a 3000lb weight isnt too unreasonable, but stopping a 3000lb weight as it flew through the air...alright someone tell me the trick, this is like watching copperfield

Hubby says the tensile strength of the strands are about 4,000 lbs

Good stuff :)

Even if the wires could handle the weight how would the car get there???
It's certainly photoshopped

How the little ducks can hold a knife with their wings?

They could hold the car in a static condition, but for it to get up there like that it would have to have been a dynamic event and the dynamic loading on the entire system, cables, wires, wooden poles would be like twice the static weight of the car and applied over the short time for that event, that entire system should have snapped (cables, wires, poles possible as well) Just the thoughts of a structural analyst.

Now for the lady in blue, we have a 22 year old secretary that I would like to see all dressed up like that!
