Freezing Balance Bars?

I just bought a case of Balance Gold Bars on eBay. 8 boxes x 15 bars is 120 bars. The expiration date on them is in four months. Can I freeze a few bozes and then unfreeze them past the expiration date whenever I need them? Or should I just ignore the date because they'll be good to eat anyway.

Anyone ever try Chocolate Peanut Butter?

eBay. Every week or so you'll see an auction go up for a case of Balance Bars. Some auctions now are selling 20-30 bars at a time. But just keep searching everyday for a case.

If you freeze them you should be able to go past the experation date, but I wouldnt let them go too long.

I think they're still good for around three months after they expire, but yeah you can freeze em. Eat em' frozen too, they taste goood.

Heh, thought I was the only one who liked frozen nutrition bars - I've been freezing my Bavarian Mint Met-Rx Protein Plus bars for a long time, and if I close my eyes and pretend REALLY hard, gnawing on one is like eating frozen Thin Mints.

Speaking of buying large quantities of bars, when we (we being my mother and I) heard that Met-Rx was discontinuing the aforementioned Bavarian Mint bars, we bought a total of 13 12-pack boxes - I think we totally cleaned out Beyondmuscle.com. I just hope we can eat the remaining 6 boxes by November, or into the deep freeze they go!

I would occasionly freeze my Pure Protein bars and let me tell you they were quite scrumpcious.

I did that. They're delicious. I eat off some of the chocolate, then eat the mint middle. Gooooood stuff.
