Kak, I think you have your numbers turned around, most cops care about their jobs and the people that they are there to protect. They are like the general population, you can find some that are jerks, but most take their job serious and behave in a professional manner. I been around all levels of law enforcement, from local to federal and if you ever get to know some of them you will find that they are pretty good people.

It's like you say about people making racist statements, don't condeem the whole group for the actions of a few.

All I am saying is that if you are a cop and you pull over a black guy in the early morning and start beating him with a flash light and his angry cousin sees this, you are pretty much a dead man. Faulkner was a known racist and I think he got what he deserved. You can't just fuck with people like that for a simple traffic violation. I go to college in philly and I turned down one way streets on accident and I never had a cop pull me over let alone start beating me. But thats maybe because I'm white I don't know.
