For the third year in a row, Joe and Ben Weider have authorized active-duty and reserve military personnel with a valid ID card to attend the Ms. Olympia Fitness, Ms. Olympia Figure, Ms. Olympia, and Mr. Olympia competitions free of charge. IFBB Pro Division Chairman Wayne DeMilia and I have been appointed facilitators for this special offer. The competitions will take place at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada, October 23-25, 2003.
"For the past two years, it has been our privilege to allow nearly 2,500 military personnel to attend the Olympia Weekend as our special guests," commented President of the IFBB, Ben Weider. "Members of the Armed Forces continue to make tremendous sacrifices for all of us. Donating tickets is a small gesture of thanks Joe and I can make to confirm how much we appreciate the freedoms we have become accustomed to and show our support to these real life heroes."
"The IFBB Pro Division respects and salutes the men and women of the US Military and we are honored and proud to have them as our special guests at the Olympia," said Chairman of the IFBB Pro Division, Wayne DeMilia. "By providing free tickets to military personnel, this is our way of saying thank you for their service to our great nation and defending our freedom," DeMilia commented
Complimentary tickets will be provided to active duty or reserve status military personnel and guest upon verification of valid military ID. Signs for military personnel indicating where to pick up the tickets will be located near the events center and expo floor lobby at the Mandalay Bay Hotel prior to the competitions. There is a limit of 200 tickets available for the Mr. Olympia Finals on Saturday. However, there will be 350 tickets available for the Ms. Olympia, Fitness Olympia, and Figure Olympia on Thursday and Friday and 350 tickets available for the Mr. Olympia Prejudging on Saturday.
