I went to my usual deli to get my coffee this morning, but i hadn't eaten breakfast so i got some scrambled eggwhites and a large coffee and a turkey wrap for lunch. this is an expensive deli so i'm figuring about $13. the guy who helped me turns to his brother (it was their parents deli), who i went to school with, and whispered something to him. Then he hands me the bag and says "its on us. happy new year."

it totally made my day that someone did something nice for me like that for no reason.
I made all their menu signs and their outside sign years ago, but i don't think they even know that- I made them almost 15 years ago.
anyway, it was pretty cool.

i switched roast beef for turkey. lower calorie. and i got low fat cheese. and the wrap is whole wheat.

no, they've always known me, just never gave me free lunch before and they don't want my number, i'm sure. their dad is this old chubby man that flirts with me- he's cute (in an old chubby man kinda way). i think they were just being nice cause i'm there a lot.
