France Feeling Effects of Boycott

Testosterone boy said:
Its this way guys. Americans were pretty unpopular before recent events took place and some of the reasons were quite reasonable. We are in fact about the most arrogant folks on the planet.

I take extreme displeasure at anything that makes us even more unpopular. Push them a little harder and we may have a 9/11 event every other month. I also like to travel and going to other countries will be rather risky or unpleasant for a while.

Also....my interests in global domination are greatly diminished by all the enemies we have been suddenly earning.

A lot of you guys say "fuck em" when other nations express displeasure. We will see if this pervasive American attitude proves to be fortuitous.

WE ARE WORLD LEADERS IN OBESITY, INCARCERATION, WHITE COLLAR CRIME, DIVORCE, LAY OFFS, LITIGATION, AND DEPRESSION. Yet we run around feeling superior because our "economic model" is "better". Hummph......we will see.

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? THE AVERAGE EURO IS FAR MORE ARROGANT REGARDING THEIR OWN ECONOMIC STRUCTURE

YOU WANT TO SUCK MY COCK WELL I DONT GO THAT WAY GRASSHOPPER

How is America arrogant? Can a superpower be humble? We are more responsible for feeding and taking care of the poor of the world than any other country. I think this is why we get the fuck 'em attitude. We're always helping other countries, and when a country like France turns their back on us, then yeah, fuck 'em. You can say that Americans are spoiled. That is probably accurate. But we wield our power as good as possible.

Ok you see the canadian flag... Doesnt mean shit lol, I'm all the way pro USA, the french fucked it up.. ok.. but then Canada fucked it up too !!! Now that sickens me, I'll get american people angry cuz of my $#@% Prime Minister who sucks as always and is ruining our relation with the US cuz of the world against that war, really makes me angry

If theres an American would would like to switch passport with me, I'm all open lol !

t-boy,

what the fuck happened to you? you used to make sense, but now you sound like another babbling leftist.

if france and america are supposed to be 'friends and allies', why would they block our attempts at taking out a threat to us? why would de villepine go visiting all of the african countries on the security council to try and persuade them to vote against us?

because they have ILLEGAL economic ties and personal friendships with this country and its former muderous and insane dictator.

do real friend sell out each other like that?

and our government was not the ones responsible for this boycott; it was the american people. why the fuck should we be pouring OUR money into THEIR economy if they are not only not willing to help defend ourselves, but by potentially putting our troops in greater danger by prolonging this political dance at the UN?

their economy was shit before this iraq thing, and we are just adding some ex-lax to it.

fuck them.

Karma to you brother!

Good. I like doing this kind of thing. The method is appropriate.

Other countries sell good snails and cheeses, anyway.

the illegal trade you speak of was beng conducted by their government

this boycotting only hurts people over there, which is what levvies pressure to the president

i hope it simmers down and chiraq realises the enormity of the situation. wouldn;t you hate it if you were a vinyard owner who couldnt afford to feed his kids just because his country veto's a war he didnt give a toss about or worse still SUPPORTED?

worse still, what if france actually DID object to this on moral grounds. ok, the probably didnt but what if they refused to do the US's bidding because their people were aganst it....something they felt was a threat to world stabilty and was purely in america's self interest and now they get punished for it??

what if the boycott goes the other way? america is haemorraging $$$ in the middle east due to boycotts of mcdonalds, KFC, cola etc....you really want a heavily industrialised nation like France exploiting those weaknesses? what about your crippled airline industry? or the retailers that DEPEND on french imports in the US?

what message does this send to other allies, particularly the poorer ones? support us or be damned economically? France has lost a good ally for a good few years now....shouldn;t that be enough punishment?

Is that not simply the nature of the beast, though? Yes. Also, are we obligated to keep using French products? No. If we don't want to, should we have to? No.

I don't boycott their products, but I have no problems with those who do. It's their choice.

Life is not fair. Never was supposed to be.
