Four Weeks On Four Weeks Off.........

I think smaller dosages can result in great gains- more isn't always better. However if you're going to shut your balls down why not make it worthwhile? Using high dosages and making incredible gains doesn't automatically result in a huge loss after your cycle is over. I gained about 24lbs on my last cycle kept 20 of it, and I know others who make better gains on less and some who make less gains on more. It all depends on the individual. I think what is at question here isn't the low doses but the 4 weeks on/4 weeks off.

Surely if you were to do a 4 week cycle of long acting esters ie sust, deca etc and then only take a 4 week break b4 commencing another cycle then you are not technically 'off' at all.
I have a couple of friends who have been using a 3 'on' 2 'off' regime for about 12 months and they have been making some very good gains. The thing that interests me is that they too have been using long acting esters. Does this mean that, health aside, the way to make constant progress is to stay 'on' permanently?

i think u answered this question yourself, in your first post. u said hes big on making quality gains. if u go four weeks on 4 off, etc. as long as your using the right drugs, the gains u make(although small)will be of good quality, and will not be lost after u finish cycle.

Yea..... but using deca? Which has one of the longest acting esters... I just think that 4 on 4 off doesn't work well for deca

Backhouse
The 2 weeks that they are off, the gear that is in their blood stream will drop, and what we are trying to acheive is just the oppisite. A constant level, not peaks and valleys.
They could quite possibly be achieving more from their gear by stay on 10 weeks then off for the same. Or something similar.

juicedownunder 4 weeks on 4 weeks off is fine, I have just stopped a cycle of test cyp and d-bol do to joint probs from not adding deca. In about 3 1/2 I put on 12pds and stop the cycle around ten days ago, not sure the exact days but still have every pound. So if I start up in another 4 weeks Imj sure I will still have most of the weight and can add on to it.

sounds good 4 weeks on and 4 off, maybe if its only with orals or insuline, not for oil base inyecs, they r slow, what kind of amount of gear does he recomend??does he use gh?r the guy alive when they finish after a year?dont forget their is life after competing or should be ...

This type of cycle is 100% what I plan on doing...Fina, Winny for four weeks then two weeks of Clomid, then two weeks of Tribulus (or nothing).

I think this type of cycle is great because the body can handle small muscle gains, plus you may not get as much natural Test shutdown this way.

like i said in my original post. 4on 4 off would work well with the RIGHT drugs.

and besides u can pretty much stay on deca year round anyway

An excerpt from article "Inhibition and Recovery of Natural Testosterone Production" by Bill Roberts (meso-rx.com):

Where AAS doses are sufficient for good gains, an interesting pattern is seen. For the first two weeks of the cycle, only the hypothalamus is inhibited, and it produces much less LHRH as a result of the high levels of sex hormones it senses. The pituitary is not inhibited at all: in fact, it is actually sensitized, and will respond to LHRH (if any is provided) even more so than normally. After two weeks however, the pituitary also becomes inhibited, and even if LHRH is provided, the pituitary will produce little or no LH. This then is a deeper type of inhibition. After this point, there seems to be no definite further "switching point" where inhibition again becomes deeper and harder to reverse. As a general rule, I would say that there seems to be little difference between using AAS for 3 weeks vs. 8 weeks: recovery is about the same either way. Between 8 and 12 weeks, it becomes more and more likely that recovery will be difficult and slow, though even at 12 weeks it is common for recovery to not be too problematic, taking only a few weeks. Cycles past 12 weeks seem much more likely to cause substantial problems with recovery. In the hundreds of consultations I have done for people with recovery problems, very few (I can recall two) were for very short cycles such as 6 weeks, while most were for usages of 12 weeks straight or more.

Well I'm with alot of other people on here to...deca and test for 4 weeks is counter productive in my opinion...it doesn't even start working until that point and then you quit....ummmmmm I don't think so...I would only do 4 week cycles with fast acting esters..

"He rekons after 4 weeks the receptors close or something and that if i continued for another six weeks it would just be a waste"

he is wrong and he coaches....there is a suprise :D

4 weeks of deca and it remains active for how long exactly? If you are using as much as the professionals are then 4 wks is more than enough to show results very early on and they can Switch over to another steroid but if they were to come off then the deca would still be active and they are not really off and there receptors would not be 'free' nor 'cleared'. This goes to show how he contradicts himself with his above statement.
