Hello plz allow me to take 3 minutes of your time. I want too tell you about my forum in the very small country 'the Netherlands' and would appreciate it very much if you would registrate and be a member. Its totally FREE.

It has an English part on the forum so no problem with the language.
I want to have some foreign members so plz be so kind and registrate

p.s. I could very easily learn another language, I choose not too. I took spanish in highschool and I know enough to go on vacation in Mexico and get where I need to go. Works for me.

If you do not learn a foreign language, especially if the opportunity is present that is a very bad decision.

There is a hungarian expression that goes something like this: "the more languages one knows, the more people he is worth."

I know the translation is a bit off, but I think that you can surmize what the expression means.

My girls and I are all dabbling with French. They are learning Spanish in school and my language is Hungarian. I never aggressively taught them because my ex was against it... but it is NEVER TOO LATE!! :)

I am very sorry guys that my dutch buddy is sending these PM's around. He is such a promotional beast. I can't stop him!

But he sure does speak a lot of languages... and is a good host to everyone!

I don't have the time right now to learn another language. Maybe when I go to school. After I enlisted they came up with a new Navy Linguist program, had they had that before I enlisted as an OS I would have most definitely tried to get that job. They teach you the language for free and it's cool languages like middle eastern stuff. I don't have an intrest in German or French that they offer in highschool. I wanna interpret Osama's tapes.

haha....cuz it's something not everyone knows, so I think it would be neat. :)

Minion, good call, but females can't do much in the Navy right now. I'm probably going to be stuck on the Gettysburg for the next 20 years.......i'll retire on this beast. Female orders just aren't out there right now....it kinda sucks.

How long would I have to wait to crossrate? I don't know much about how that works?

I'm no CCC but you want to head to the skiff on your tug. Let'em know your interested in cross rating to CTI (linguists). The sooner the better. There's PQS to do and some other paper work to submit your package. After that's done they'll cut you orders to the "A" school. You may have to extend your enlistment to take those orders, but it may be worth it for the experiance. Your choice of orders will multiply X10.

You only have to fill in the date of birth in the right way cause now you are 12 years old :D

In profile choose month and year THEN >> GO after this you choose the date en click om it then it's oke !!!
