Forearms....

I do forearm and hand strength work. Doesn't matter how much weight I can pull if I can't hang on to it.
 
I train my grip quite often...

Just be careful not to overtrain or you'll go blind. Has something to do with the nerves from the forearm and the optic nerves interfering with each other.

I was actually being serious...I train my grip constantly. Events, timed holds, thick bars...not always very intense...but very often.
