Im debating whether or not to get my forearms tattoo'd. Anyone got any suggestions or ideas on what i should get, i was thinkin maybe my last name or something.......????

a forearm tattoo is something i'd be seriously cautious of. it's not as easily covered up if need be. i've wanted to get my arms 2/3 sleeved but i've pretty much talked myself out of it. my right arm is half sleeved and my left arm is down just as far but not done on the underside.
the main thing that stopped me is that some day i'm going to have a "real" job. i just think it's more professional to be able to easily cover things like that up. plus i don't want to have to wear long sleeve shirts year round in order to do it if i would ever have to.
but besides that, i don't know why someone would get their last name tattooed on their forearm. are you going to forget? and getting names tattooed across your back....is that so the guy ramming you from behind knows who you are?
can't really help you with a design, everyone likes different things. for me it's skulls, and lots of 'em. i'd definetly say no to getting your name tattooed on you though.

I personally find forearm tattoos to be tacky unless you have the entire sleeve done.

not the work place, or with your family (my parents told me if I get a tat before I'm out of college, they will stop helping me out....seriously lol)

when i've been in tattoo shops glancing through the books, i had the misfortune of seeing dick tattoos. intricate detail, color, and design, and i could not imagine having that done. i'm sorry, i can handle the pain of tattooing no problem (i didn't even flinch getting the underside of my arm done) but not on my dick.
ok, i'm not superhuman with the pain, however, the underside of the arm is sensitive and it didn't bother me. my back, however, hurt like hell. but even though it hurt like hell, i managed to sit upright perfectly still the entire time. the guy tattooing me was impressed at how well i "sat." i've been told that by everyone that's tattooed me actually.
i had a friend years back that got his forearm tattooed. the design wasn't really friendly either. he told the artist "i want satan on my forearm." the guy put something really demonic on there and put a pentogram that was about 3" across in the design with only 1/4 of it covered, so you knew what it was. full color. huge piece. a few months later he said "yeah, it kinda makes family gatherings a little difficult now....." and he thought it was funny.
his next piece, however, was a wickedly demonic face on the back of his neck. the eyes were sewn shut, a small 666 on one side, pentogram on the other, upside down crosses in it, and this face, there were maggots coming out of the eyes and the mouth.....
i have to say that the detail in this piece was OUTSTANDING. it just wasn't something i think anyone should have on their body.
be selective in what you get tattooed and where you get it. i don't regret any one of my tattoos, but i can cover them up pretty easily if need be. just something to keep in mind.
