Frankly, I don't think a couple of bananas or apples a day is going to harm anyone's diet.

I think you're better off with whole fruit rather than drinking fruit juices. I agree with Lestat, though, fruit is an iffy thing....fructose is a simple sugar.

If you are striving to strip every ounce of fat off, you should not drink juice.

Fruit is a little better because it fills you more, thus preventing you from eating something else.

The sugar in it is not good though, the vitamins are, but you are better off getting the vitamins through a source that is not packed in sugar.

Sure fruit is "healthy" compared to junk food, I will give you that. But again if your goal is to eliminate fat, Juice is not helping.

No.

1. Water should be your first choice and main beverage.
2. If you NEED caffeine go with unsweetened Iced Tea, you can add artificial sweetener if you need.
3. Crystal light has no sugar and comes in many flavors
4. Diet sodas (but try not to have more then 1 a day if you must)
5. Coffee (but remember it is a diuretic and will dehydrate you)

So no, not just water.

Try calorie or carb staggering or a cyclical diet. Eat the same amount of cals in a four day period, but drop carbs really low for 2 days then bump them up for 2 days. Do this once a week, the other 3 days just eat normally. Also, I've found eating more healthy fats help me burn more fat.

>That's not possible... is it..?

No. It is possibly to get very low numbers using calipers but that doesn't mean you're actually below 5%....it just means the calipers read that number. A hydro test would never read that low.

I think it is funny when people say stay away from simple sugar. Especially when they have already told you to keep your calories below your maintenance level. It would be impossible for you to "gain" fat if your calories are below your maintenance level even if all you ate all day was sugar. The only problem you would have is "satiety" - it would make you amazingly hungry all day because your body would process the sugars so quickly. So go ahead eat all the HEALTHY fruit you want - just mind your calories and your satiety/hunger!
