what would you choose: vasectomy or tying the tubes? Lets say you are tired of condoms or IUD's or any other kind of birth control

I'd choose just flat out pounding you until you begged for mercy!

Does that answer your question??

My hubby had a vasectomy.....insurance covered all but $35 -- tube tying not covered. The vasectomy took (literally) 12 mins & he got to sit in a lawn chair with ice on his crotch & got waited on all weekend....

I have herd of girls having all kinds of problems being fixt but I have never herd of anny problems with a man.

My buddy got it done nad two days later his nuts swole up the size of a baseball!

I'm thinking of getting clipped because its easier then the tube tying. Also, my understanding is that a clip can be undone while tube cannot be re-attached. But, right now, we're following the Raina methond of birth control...:(

I had my tubes tied during the birth of my last child. It was a planned c-section, so I had them do it since they would be in there anyway. DH said he would if I didn't want to - but it was just easier this way.

The more I think about it the less I want to breed. I think I'd be an awful mother.
thats what I thought. The kids are gonna occupy you and you dont think of anyone else anymore. Simple :)

Tubes can be reattached. It costs about 3K - 6K, depending on the reputation of the doctor you choose. Some dr's have a success rate upwards of 97% or so - the average success rate (success being conception after reattached) is about 80%.

He most likely didn't keep the ice on it....if you ice it, that won't happen...

i got clipped 4 years ago...best thing i ever did...took 20 min...no problems, except when the nurse went to shave me.....

I want hubby to get clipped, but right now he is dead set against it. We wouldn't do it for several years, since we still want mroe kids.

I STRONGLY feel he should do it over me, since it is invasive surgery for me, and not for him. The recovery time is much shorter for him. We'll see.

I have a friend who's new wife got her tubes reattached. She'd had them done around 15 yrs ago. Cost $7K CDN, done in the U.S. She's 45.
Her healthy baby boy is 1 yr old.

I got clipped because my wife had a miscarriage & any more kids would be dangerous.

My old man got snipped because the tube tying thing was too dangerous a procedure for my mom to get.

Pretty well. But, I'm having a nightly affair with supermodels and movie stars. You'd be surprised how much Angelina Jolie snores.

I'm scheduled for a gonad snip on 7/28....

Would prefer her to do for obvious reason....but my undying love knows no end.
