Why are you so fucking stupid? There is no "outer" chest. There is a sternal and clavicular head to the chest musculature. That's it. Flies aren't going to do anything a properly executed bench press or OHP will unless you're looking for extra metabolic work without excess CNS drain.

you dont 'build' the muscle differently by changing the angle of press, you (in theory) circumvent CNS adaption/falloff by changing the exercise slightly which (in theory) enables you to keep progression going

I suggest less fucking around trying to get those outer pecs 'swole' and more focus on benching & assistance work until you're beching at least 315 for several good reps. Call it intuition but something is telling me you're probably maxing at 185 or so (this reminds me of the 140lb guy at work who's always telling me how the cable press machine would 'really bring out my striations')
