If you would have read the whole post you'd know that I have a 2001 Prelude. It has 200 hp and for $5000 I could make it 350+. I don't think that the Eclipses or Civics of the world are great either. I don't agree that you should have to spend $10000 on a car to have something fast...just buy a better car to begin with. I like the Preludes, Celicas, NSX's and Supras of the Import world. Those are real cars with real potential. I read magazines and see that these guys blew $30000 on their mom's old Civic to get it up to 300 hp, big fucking deal, who cares. It's the real import cars that I'm after. I was a Vette boy since I was a kid, my uncle and Aunt both had them and I was hooked, I can still tell what year that are just by looking at them but I'm just fascinated with the fact that after all these years of dealing with these monster engines that the European and Japanese markets can get so much out of so little. Its necessity there, where as we in North America have the ability to buy gas at a decent price. I just feel that if you love cars you can't help but like their technology even if you do like the big block cars over here.
