Well, fuck me. I'm just finishing of a degree in Information Systems. Thanks for the confidence boost! :D

Oh, and I'm also in a double degree program...2ed one is Commerce.

Bunnymt, I fucked around with various majors for the first few years I was in school (Everything from psychology to medicine). After nearly flunking out, I realized I had no business being in school at that point in my life. So I took a few years off to work, and now that I'm back in university I'm really enjoying the experience.

High School. So frigging pointless anymore. We have block scheduling, and I have all the credits I need to graduate. My classes are economics [joke], and sci-fi which is a joke but fun. Then I go to vo-tech for building trades. I love tech however, and carpentry is what I want to do with my life after the military.

yeah huntmaster its not too bad on the fun factor, and yeah finding a job is rough in the market these days...good luck to ya, i squeaked in on the edge before the storm....so to speak.....

And how many tech workers in the Bay Area are out of work? And how many have left the Bay Area because there are few jobs?

How should I know? I'm involved in science not computer tech. If I were to guess I would say alot, but that's just a guess....There are still alot of jobs here they just don't fall into your lap like before. :(

I am computer science too, graduation in two months... it'll be interesting to see what kinds of jobs there really are available!

I was in my 2nd year at Edinburgh University (Scotland), studying for an M.A in English Literature, until December. But due to depression/eating disorder/dissatisfaction with my degree subject, I decided to leave and return home to London and take the rest of the academic year off.

I've now reapplied to some London universities for next September and I am going to be switching from English Literature to Pyschology instead.

I'm interested in pursuing a career in clinical psychology, with a bit of journalism on the side.

ok.....math for me. I am going to be starting my first year of grad school in the Spring after I graduate from college in January.
