I am currently using slin post workout (12iu). I want to start supplementing with ALA as well. Is this a good idea, or is it pointless since ALA mimicks the effect of insulin. I was thinking that it might be beneficial to use along with it, just in case my glycogen stores are pretty full from previous carb meals in the day, as well as my post workout phosphagen (70g dextrose). Also, should I be taking it with my carb meals earlier in the day? The only carbs I am currently eating are old fashioned oats (120g/4 meals) If anyone else has an educated opinion, please respond!
